As it is now, the Media Bay memo recorder is unnerving to the max: whenever I play something into it, it keeps repeating it, and whenever I try to replace that, it just adds it at the end of the first loop - all this ad nauseam.
This is in utter need of a reset button to record a new loop whenever required.
I’ve never used this feature, but according to the manual…
When you pause for 2 seconds, the note sequence that you played until this moment is played back in a continuous loop.
To use another sequence, start entering notes again.
So that last part doesn’t hold true?
Exactly. After I pause and play a new sequence. it keeps repeating the old.
Once it even added the last payed sequence at the end of the first, and so on. But I can’t replicate that even weirder behavior now.
What is didn’t do in both cases, was overwrite the old sequence with a new one. At least I haven’t found a way to do so. To start at zero, I have to delete the whole track and and insert a drum track from scratch.
I only use this function for kits without their own drum pattern, like Drum Machine Vol. 1. It’s faster to play a short loop and then browse through the kits with it, than finding and loading a well suited midi file in the file browser.
