The Dorico Task remains in Memory after ending the program and block a lot of memory, the only way to close is to end the task in task manager … also used objects are blocked with this proces and cant be moved or deleted …
I’m using Version 6.1.10.6078 (Oct 8 2025) under Win11
On Windows, an application is supposed to quit when you close its last visible window, so assuming that neither the Hub nor any document windows are open, there should be no running processes associated with Dorico.
The behavior the OP describes is something I used to come across occasionally with D5, but I haven’t seen it with D6. I think there may have been some issues with Dorico closing the audio engine, and my recollection is that there were some steps taken to address this in one of the updates.
