Turn off hub in Cubase preferences. Open a project. Maximize the project window (full screen). Now save the project under a new name. Close Cubase.

Start Cubase. Go to File / Recent Projects and select the maximized project you just saved. Wait until it is open, then click on the menu. The text of the selected entry is many pixels wrong / too low. Now shrink your project window to ‘windowed mode’ and maximize it again - now the menu behaves correctly. This bug exists for many years.

FYI, I have a similar issue (re: the menu bar’s rendering/positioning) with both Nuendo and Cubase, across mutliple recent versions, related to the position of the Windows task bar.

> Hi! I’ve had this display issue with the top menu bar for… years now, across versions, with both Cubase and Nuendo. I never found what causes it. It generally happens when opening the software, and is fixed by re-docking/maximizing the menu bar/window - but it’s a seriously annoying little QoL issue, and I’m surprised that after so many years that this keeps flying under the radar. This is Nuendo 11, on a 1920x1080 display, part of a three screen setup with different resolutions. All screens ar…
