I’m trying to cut out a section of a midi track and paste in onto another track. What I want is for the new part to land on top so that I can simply merge it with the glue tool, like I usually do. But now all of a sudden, the midi I paste deletes the underlying midi. It’s the same whether I drag/drop or use copy/paste.
Midi merge is turned on.
Any ideas?
