Merge MIDI re-record in only ONE lane ?

Hello,

I’m trying to record new midi information on one lane from previous take (I don’t want to use multiple lanes, just continue recording in one lane on the whole track). With Merge record selected this works, until you reach the end of the previous take and then it creates a new lane, isn’t it possible to extend the first lane from the first take instead of have multiple lanes on the track ?

I ask this, because I’d like to have the score editor update information when I record new information and because of a bug in score editor it isn’t possible to record in that window so …

Hi,

On the Transport panel, you can select if you want to create a New Parts, Merge or Replace. Notice, there is different settings for the MIDI Record Mode and MIDI Cycle Record Mode.
