I have 2 projects where I would like to append one to the other to make a single project that contains all of the midi, instrument, and effects. The best I’ve been able to do is merge midi files which looses everything the midi note and removes the option of assigning an instrument to a track. (I see I can assign different channels to a track, but those channels seem to be associated with HALion6 only.)
Anyone know if this feature is native to Cubase Elements, or developed a work around?
Pro lets you Import Tracks from Project, which is what you really want to do. Don’t know of any Elements workaround.
I suppose you could download the Pro trial and use that to merge them.
