"Merging" two lines together

Hi all,

I make my bow pressure using lines that go very thick (the wedge line with flat bottom).

This works fine, if I create the lines first and attach it to notes and then tie the notes to make it one, so the line starting point stays in place.

However, if I have the same example over a bar line, Dorico keeps doing weird stuff and I cannot make this “look” like one line.

Hi @Composer-Chris, the harmonic is causing the shifting. I am not sure how you applied your lines, but here an example, after accurate positioning (using decimal numbers) in Engrave mode:
