That is not the first time that Cubase has a messy and confusing update process, but I’ve been struggling for about half an hour looping between the launch of the so-called launcher for downloading and having to close it if I do what this prompt says: ‘‘Quit the Steinberg Download Assistant and continue the installation by clicking ‘Retry’.’’
