Meters: PPM vs WAVE. Whats the difference?

Hello folks,

The manual does´nt explain the difference between PPM and WAVE metering on the meter bridge. After experimenting, I cannot tell whats the difference between them.

How do they behave differently?

This is for when you have the Meter Bridge enabled on the MixConsole (check the top right menu). Tracks with recorded audio will show a waveform instead of a peak meter.
