I’m in 12/8 at 120BPM in an orchestral score and I need to switch to 4/4 just for some instruments, keeping the barlines aligned. I limited the new time signatures too those staves pressing option while entering them.
Can I limit the modulation dotted quarter = quarter to just those instruments?
Enter your local time signature as shift-M 4/4,6 (ie a pickup bar with 6 beats!)
In the following bar return it to 12/8 (and hide it using the properties).
In each bar create a 4:6q tuplet (and hide it using the properties)
