I did some research to find out why the metronome click sounds out of sync. with the playback. I realized that I have to route the metronome sound to play through the VST instrument I’m using, and in my case it’s NotePerfomer. So, I changed from DoricoDeep to Noteperformer, but I’m getting lost after that because the clicking sound is now is weired (violin!), and it’s still out of sync!
Noteperformer does introduce some delay somewhere; though I use NP alongside other VSTs, and they are perfectly together.
Can you supply a document that shows the problem, for others to test?

This delay happens in all scores! I’m trying to use Dorico as a guide for the students to learn their parts by displaying it in the classroom instead of MakeMusic Cloud.
Even so, please upload a document that exhibits the problem, configured to your setup.
If you send the metronome to NotePerformer, then it will use the first instrument in NP’s banks.
