I can only hear a faint click from the metronome in Control Room. Cubase has defaulted to an old audio driver (Minifuse). When I try and route it through my current Audio interface (UMC404HD) ASIO driver, Cubase freezes and requires a computer reboot to get back in.
What is the best way to set up the metronome in Control Room pls? and
How do I get rid of the old ASIO driver or stop it from being recognised by Cubase?
I don’t know if this is an answer to your question, but the metronoms level is handled in the main panel of the controlroom, not the insert panel that your pcture is showing.
Thanks @Buer the volume wheel in the control room works if the Metronome is solo but I can’t see how to adjust the metronome independently of the Mix or Cue feeds in the control room. Hence playing with the main Metronome cog wheel inputs. My settings are maxed out in order to get a balanced feed. Hence checking the Metronome MIDI Outputs panel (see diagram above) which prompted my question about ASIO drivers.
@Buer Nice visual display of the metronome controls in Control Room
@robforage : You can leave the MIDI Output at “Not Connected” and don’t have to worry about it.
In case you want to have a separate click track: Project > Signature Track > > Render Audio / MIDI Click between Locators.
