Metronome Mark collides with chord symbols – inconsistent behavior with First Line Indent

Hi,

I’ve encountered an issue where the Metronome Mark collides with chord symbols at the beginning of a system.

As shown in the attached screenshots, the tempo marking (e.g. ♩ = 100) overlaps with the chord symbol (E, A6/E, etc.) when both are placed at the start of the system.

A workaround is to adjust First line indent in the Paragraph Style (Tempo / Metronome Mark). This can solve the collision visually.

However, this introduces a new problem:

  • When the system has two or more accidentals in the key signature, the spacing looks correct.

  • When there are fewer accidentals (or none), the metronome mark is pushed too far to the left, creating inconsistent alignment across the score.
