Metronome no longer sounds audio in cubase 15 (Do not use Control Room)

For the last year, metronome has been working perfectly in cubase 15 pro. Yesterday, no more audio. I have not changed a thing in the Metronome setup. I do not use Control Room. Not sure what is going on. Has anybody had the same problem?

Thanks for responding. It wasn’t that, two days later it started working. No changes no solution for why it stopped but I’ll take the fix whatever that was.
