Hi Steve, will try to get a crash report as soon as possible, in the meantime, my OS is El Capitan (10.11.6) with Cubase 9.5.21.3.
This crash (on my system at least) is very reproducible, in that Cubase always crashes when I follow the steps in the title.
Since there aren’t other reports of this that I’ve seen (yet?), I would suggest to try disabling prefs by starting Cubase in safe start mode. If that fixes the problem, quit and start up in safe start mode again and delete the prefs.
If it doesn’t fix the prob, it’s bug report time, if you’re in a country where you can open a support ticket in your SB account you should do so. It will be useful if you post the crash file here as well.
