I had two questions.
- I type in the immediate indication Più mosso in the tempo popover but the metronome properties don’t appear in the panel. Where are they?
I could only insert Più mosso with a metronome marking by inputting another indication that comes up in the popover list and then changing it under Text in the panel.
- Why doesn’t a common marking like Più mosso come up in the popover list?
They come up as relative here.

If you type Più mosso q=XX, then it will be considered as an absolute tempo and you’ll be able to hide the metronome marking in the properties (but it’s maybe not faster than your method).
Due to the way that the popover is parsed, anything with più or meno comes up as a relative tempo (and Meno X is still set at 110%…)
It’s a rough corner that needs some work.
Thank you, @jesele @charles_piano @benwiggy for the explanations and solution.
Yes, this needs some work.
