I am new to Cubase and Music recording I’m all ready to go but when I open a track My track window and try to record it doesn’t work at all. It’s working on my system because in other sound programs it does work Also sample media, I import plays just fine.

Are you on Mac or Windows? Did you select the ASIO Driver? How is your Audio Connections > Inputs settings?
