I have an “a flat” in the score editor, which is also displayed on an a line.
In the Midi editor, however, the same note is referred to as “G sharp”, which I, as a layman, find extremely confusing.
I also find this inaccuracy unnecessary. Cubase knows that the note must be displayed on the A line and that it is an A flat instead of a G sharp.
Couldn’t the Midi editor ask the note editor how exactly a “black note” should be named depending on the key of the measure.
I’ve found that changing the pitch of the note (in the score editor) up and down, it will come back as something different than it started (D# to Eb). I’m not sure what drives those decisions…

Thanks. But I can’t understand it here.
At this point, the key editor doesn’t have access to all the data that is used for display of the score. The information in the info line is also independent. This is certainly something we would like to improve in future.
