You simply add screen space, that is not an option.

Don’t understand that…that’s how it is currently with the audio/midi switch, no?

We’ll try to come up with a solution.

So, to simplify my request, I don’t want to switch. I want to be able to see the information at all times. Audio volume and Midi volume. These can also be values or a rotary control, it doesn’t matter.

Hi @kyru , can you point to some benefits to help me understand - as user - the benefits or your request? (Have lots of experience with DAW’s + MIDI. For example MIDI vol adjust or audio adjust results “usually the same”, so I usually just adjust mixer-audio vol then and leave MIDIvol. Meanwhile for dynamic-expressions I use another MIDI#CC’s that are VSTinstrument dependent)

So, in principle, you’re right. I haven’t shared midi and audio volume n preferences so that I can set the volumes more flexibly. Some VSTs have several outputs, so I like to work with midi volume (ex. Omnisphere), the others I use audio volume. What important is for me, to be able to see both values at any time. for example, in a box (001-127) and (inf to 6dB).

You can see those concurrently in the Mixer, wher you can also re-order channels.
And for tracks it’s available in the Inspector.
We’ll check for Layers.
