MIDI CC 16-23 events filtered out

In Cubase 10.0.60 or in 10.5.12 (Windows 10 Pro 1903) all CC events from 16-23 are filtered out; they don’t appear. If I enable write automation on any MIDI track and move knobs that are connected to CC16-23 on my NI Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 controller nothing comes into the automation track. Outside of Cubase these knobs send CC16-23 events no problem to any other app.

I checked in the Preferences, MIDI filtering and nothing was set up there except the default (AllNotesOff or something like that). Any ideas?

Hi,

By default, CC16-23 are assigned to the Track Quick Controls. Make sure your MIDI Controller is not set as an MIDI Input of the Track Quick Controls in the Studio > Studio Setup, please.

Wow. Thanks! I don’t know how I would have found that otherwise. That might be used by the Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2; I’ll disable them and see if the jog/shuttle control quits working for track navigation.
