MIDI CC#2 Changing from 127 to 0 without any nodes after recording MIDI

Hi all,

Something that’s been bugging me that I’ve just adapted by inputting a node of 127 into CC#2, but when I use a Kontakt-based library (e.g. Cinematic Studio Strings or Cinematic Studio Woodwinds) and load it up, I can hear the vibrato from the sample (which would indicate that it is currently set to 127), so I will record the MIDI lines with this library where I can hear the vibrato. Once I am done and play it back, the vibrato has completely gone and it is non-rib, indicating that the MIDI CC#2 is now at 0, even though there is no value set in the MIDI whatsoever when checking.

Can someone point me in the direction on how to default it to 127 or make it not change it at all? This happens with all Kontakt versions I have, 5, 6 and 7, so I’ve ruled not to be the VST in this instance.

Hi,

I’m thinking about MIDI Reset message or MIDI Chase Events.

Perfect, thanks Martin, turns out Reset on Stop had been activated at some point, unchecking this seems to resolve it! Thanks again.
