Sorted it! Reason Pulsar LFO audio out → ReWire Channel. Free audio to MIDI CC plugin as an insert. Then I can use the output of that plugin to drive the input of any MIDI channel in Cubase and either record the results or assign that MIDI channel to the input of a rack or track instrument. The results are like, 10x better. Which still leads me to believe that Cubase is imposing some kind of limitation on the amount of data it’s capturing.
Any news on this? 0 reduction should be really 0 !
