Midi channel solos when editer open?!?!

Please help,

All of a sudden when i open a midi editing window in cubase that track solos. The only audio that plays when this window is open is now the audio from that midi chanel. It never used to do this, and I can’t figure out why it started, I didn’t change any settings as far as I know.

This is happening in Cubase 4.

There is a button in the top left corner with an “S” called the “solo editor” button or something similar.
Click there.

There’s a Solo Record In Editors pref that may be enabled.
