Midi chord file to chord track/pads

Hello everyone in Cubase land
I am impressed with the new features in Cubase 10 and really enjoy using it

  • The request I have is the ability to DRAG a chord on a “midi track” into a “chord track” , or/and
    drag a midi track chord file on to a chord pad .
    I can drag a chord form the chord track or chord pad to a midi “Track” ,but NOT the other way .
    Unless I Totally missed this Feature…
    It would enhance my work flow a lot

I dont know what a “midi track chord file” is but try this.

I can drag a chord form the chord track or chord pad to a midi “Track” ,but NOT the other way .

Select the midi part in which you have clean quatized chords.
Project-- Chord Track–> Create Chord Symbols
Now drag the Chord Events from the Chord Track to the Chord Pads.

That was it .
Issue resolved
I was trying to Drag the parts
Lazy me
I still think it would be nice to be able drag a part to a chord track ,or a pad
with a selectable preset quantize value of course
Same request for dragging in to a player
