It seems I have lost some settings in Cubase elements 10 LE. I can see activity in the midi in window from my M Audio keyboard/controller. I can get Halion to work using the mouse on the piano keyboard on the Halion screen but I cannot get the signal from the piano to register on the track and hence I can’t record either. I cannot solve this and have spent too many hours trying Please Help!
Most likely it is something set incorrectly on the Instrument Track. Can you post a screen capture the Track that shows the stuff below.

Also double-check the Preferences > MIDI > MIDI Filter, please. By default only the SysEx data are filtered out.
