I’m sure I am missing something obvious… I have set my MIDI controller to control specific parameters in a plugin using Generic Remote configuration in Device Setup, yet the controller is affecting multiple parameters of the plugin. It controls the parameter I specified in the setup, yet it is also moving other knobs on the plugin as well.

This is almost certainly because the plugin in question has certain parameters hard-wired to MIDI CC#s. In cases such as this, usually the documentation of that particular plugin will detail the MIDI CC# assignations.
