Midi data out of sync with audio

Just tried my first session recording MIDI

4.0.41.215 - studio: win10 - performer Mac OS

There’s nothing in the PDF/connectvst.com site about MIDI so I assumed I would just record enable a MIDI track in cubase and set the input to the VST Connect Performer MIDI output.

This recorded just fine except the MIDI data was out of sync. It looked to me like it was a couple of seconds out (late ?) about the same as the delay setting ?


What’s the correct process for recording MIDI or is this just a bug ?

thanks - think this is what sylvain means by “there is a huge latency on recording” ?
