Midi device Manager in Cubase Artist 15 (error)

Hello,

I upgraded from Cubase 14 Essential, to Cubase 15 Artist.

Somehow it did automatically transfer my Midi devices. On a plain Midi channel I can select a device (JV-1080) and i can select a patch.

But in the midi device manager, i do see the synths/devices, but I cant see the patches or banks. Neither can I edit them. According to the manual I should. And in Essential I could also.

What is going wrong here? I want to edit a patch. Installing a new device doenst change anything.

I tried the search function before this topic, but sadly it didnt pop up.

And this is serious:

I had a discussion with ChatGPT, which stated that removing the edit function of midi device manager was a new function of Artist, so you can focus on making music instead of tweakin with hardware.

Once again: never trust AI.
