I currently want ro create a MIDI device map for my HandSonic HPD-15. I created a Inspector device panel, to control the Handsonics parameters like level, pitch etc.

When I dial the knobs in the device panel, the Handsonic reflects the changes. When I dial the hardware knobs on the HandSonic, the device panel knobs do NOT reflect these changes.

Isn’t it supposed to work bidrectional?

No, if you want the hardware to control the software you need to set up one of the remotes, either the specific for your device or the generic. Quick Controls are also an option.
