Midi distortion after mix down

I mixed down a song that had two midi tracks. It sounds fine in Cubasis 2, but when I listen to the mix down, the midi tracks are warbly and distorted. The audio tracks sound fine. It’s just the midi. Any thoughts? I’ve never used midi tracks before.
