Midi editor does not allow changing note length anynore

I cannot reduce note length on all my midi tracks. Only if turn snapping off completely. However, I would like to snap to e.g. 1/8. But not lengths are fixed to 1/2. Is it a bug? Or there is some settings that keeps it that way?

Hi,

How do you try to reduce the length? Via mouse or a Key Command?

Do you have the Length Quantize linked?

Hi, I’m trying that via mouse. What do you mean by “Length Quantize linked”? I did not find any Length Quantize toggle. Only “Quantize Lengths” and “Fixed Lengths” buttons in inspector sections. Pressing those does not affect anything.

Hi,

In the Toolbar of the Key Editor, show the Length Quantize option. Then you will see its value.

ok, thanks guys! following the recommendation from another thread I was trying to activate additional tools via a little gear to the right, but in Cubase 14 I need to right-click the toolbar’s empty space, where I can select “show all” and then length quantize will appear.
