When i try to edit midi organ tracks, using NI B4 II ( and other midi instruments as well) , I get a midi lowest note sounding (c-2) midi reset only clears the note for a second or so. Is there a setting i can use to clear this…It makes the midi editor unusable…screenshot attached…
Do you by chance have an expression map (regular not note) on that track? If so check to see if slot-0 is sending the note. I’ve never seen Cubase play a note that somehow wasn’t being sent from somewhere. You might want to look at the midi IN for that track and also see what the Chord Track and Chord Pads are up to. Stick a MIDI Monitor into a MIDI Insert both on tracks that exhibit this behavior and those that don’t. It’s possible this is happening on every track but only some have instruments that will produce audio on that note. If you use MIDI Modifiers to transpose the data does that change which note gets triggered?
Thanks so much for your help…
I deselected the midi input for the track and the note stopped! Must have been my Behringer mixing surface sending the note to that channel…Thanks again…Fixed!
