There is a bug in Cubase 15 regarding the midi editing.
After a while when selecting a track to edit the piano roll starts flashing and goes back to the bottom screen before you big it up or goes back to the main tracks.
It crashed on me once and once restarting there was no problem and proceeded to choosing which song you want to open , so I think this is a bug that is rather annoying when editing midi.

It may help to state your OS.
How are you selecting a track to edit? From Arrange Page or Key Editor?
To confirm, this only happens in Key Editor? Not Drum Editor or any other editors?
If it crashed on you once, then I assume you re-started in Safe Mode?
Start C15 in Safe Mode. Disable preferences and 3rd party plugs.

When I press piano roll It appears at bottom of screen then I enlarge to edit midi notes from my Genos 2 after a while the main screen went back to the bottom and starts flashing quickly and then i enlarge screen again and sometimes starts again. I have Scan Uk built machine 3XS AMD RYZEN 7900X updated all round on everything . This Is a very fast machine a year old. This problem only happens when midi editing and nothing else.
It crashed once and I just restarted and the problem page did not appear and when to start screen to choose what you are working on. This never happened on Cubase 14.

Hold fire for me at moment as my AMD Adrenalin software hung on chip set updates
Lucky my re-Image worked. Adrenalin software Is hopeless but the ASUS Driver program Is 100% and updated what Adrenalin was not doing. Somehow there was a missing file.
So I will get back to Cubase tonight .
Re- Imaging your drive is a life saver.
There maybe a 25H update that caused problems or that Adrenalin software which I think Is mainly for gamer’s really.
I just use my machine for music and have a separate one for Internet mainly.
