I am looking for a way to musically smoothen the CC values I get from a certain controller I use. I am thinking of an envelope with Attack and Release to define how the CC will be written when my controller causes hard and unwanted jumps.
Actually, this video demonstrates pretty good, what kind of effect I am looking for.
At 2:20 you can see how the Fader in Omnisphere slowly falls back to zero instead of immediately dropping when he stops blowing/sending information. I think in his case, the function is built into the driver/software dashboard of his breath controller.
However, it would be awesome if there is anything like this in form of a MIDI Plugin or even better, if there is a way to achive this within Cubase itself.
