Hi there,
A strange issue here but maybe easy to solve . When I record a midi part, the event starts always from the beginning of the project and not from where the cursor was located. So after stop recording I have to delete the first (unused) part of the event. How can I make a event which starts from the cursor position directly?
I run with Cubase pro 14 on a Macbook pro M3
I 'm not on my Cubase computer at the moment , but my reflex response is that you have to set the ‘L’ (left) locator at the point where you want the recording to begin from…
Hi,
It should snap to the Bars. You can disable this option in the Preferences > Record > MIDI > Snap MIDI Parts to Bar.
Unfornately, it still creates an event from the project start
Hi,
Isn’t there Punch In enabled?
Does it start from Start or from the Left Locator?
Even with this setting it creates an event from the project start.
I gone think that is due to macbook pro M3 and cubase 14 pro. because, it was correct in cubase 13.
