Midi export - what it will and won't contain . .

I have a Dorico file that contains copious tempo changes (done as events in the tempo lane, rather than as score indications), many velocity lane velocities, and many video markers. I would like to export it as a midi file, with tempo changes and velocities, but without the video markers or video. Will simply exporting the file as “midi” automatically include what I want while excluding the rest?

Why not just try it and see?

Yes, that’s the obvious thing to do. I’ve almost never worked with straight midi files before, so I wanted to know if there were any prerequisites.
