Imported midi files from Dorico split into two files when importing to Pro Tools; one with notes, cc1, and velocity. The second one is empty apart from the cc2-data. Any ideas why this happens?
PT imports the notes and the cc into separate files.
Two screenshots; one of all the strings, and one of vln II with its two files.
Does not apply to all the tracks/instruments, but can´t see a pattern for which ones gets this behaviour.

Sounds like a Pro Tools issue. What do you mean by “two files” when you import a MIDI file into one Pro Tools document? Or are you opening the MIDI file in PT, and you get two separate documents?
Yes, see screengrab. PT imports the notes and the cc into separate files.

Henrikskram…did you ever find a solution? I’ve just experienced the same problem. Seems like it’s not an issue importing into logic but for som reason ProTools creates separate tracks. My work around was to merge the two tracks by copying and pasting but this is a bit tedious. Anyway, let me know if you found a solution. Kind Regards, Glen
