Midi import function

Hi,
is it possible to import midi file filtered by midi ports and Chanels with memory option please ?

i have a lot of “Notator” files " exported in midi.
at this old period, I was using 4 port and 16 midi Chanel per port.
I wasn’t very clear with the track’s name but all tracks were using always the same sound on the same midi track (sound module)
Thank you,
Regards,

Thierry

I don’t think so.
If I want only certain tracks in a .mid file to be opened in Dorico, I save the .mid file that way in the first place. e.g. from Cubase, I solo only the tracks I want to use in Dorico, then save the .mid file.
Obviously you can’t do this with C-Lab Notator files!
I think you’ll have to load up the whole file into Dorico, and delete the tracks you don’t want.

I see, so i will try opening the midi files in cubase and mute what i don’t want to keep. And transfer in dorico.
But for exemple, all my midi 3 on port A is the Oboe on proteus classical sound module.
I wanted to use memory option in dorico midi import because a lot of time , i have not written the instrument name, or not every time with same description (ob, hb, oboe …)
