MIDI import with instrument variant

Hello,

I’m trying to import some midi files into Dorico using the new MIDI importer (what a great adittion!). Every instrument imports fine except from the Baritone Sax, and I suspect that it is because I’ve chosen the “Bass clef full score” variant. Thus, when I tell the MIDI track that this is a Baritone sax, I can only apply it to a new player, and not using the previous one, no matter what I do.
What’s going on?

Yes, for the time being you’ll have to import as a new instrument and then change that instrument to the desired variant after import.
