What is the difference between Midi In and Events In? in Midi track “Output routing”
and why 01. VCV Rack 2 - MIDI In option… is not showing in the second picture?
at the first picture
Cubase project file created by someone “VCV rack with two midi channel”
I can see " 01. VCV Rack 2 - MIDI In" as Midi track Output option
But if I added VCV RACK pro as an instrument track by myself it doesn’t have “01. VCV Rack 2 - MIDI In” for midi tracks output
Instead it appears “01. VCV Rack 2 - Events In”
The problem is that in the first case all the MIDI tracks work on any MIDI channel I choose
While “01. VCV Rack 2 - Events In”… MIDI channels 2 and higher do not work
Only the MIDI Ch1 will receives the signal
So why if I added VCV Rack instrument by myself can’t see “01. VCV Rack 2 - MIDI In” option on midi tracks output menu? While in the file created by that person has different output option?
The problem is in the VCV Rack itself
I didn’t notice that the friend’s file uses VCV RACK VST2
The problem is that I use VST3 and the VCV team said it would look into this problem without telling me it belongs to VST3 only…
