But the same happens on v7 - just checked.
When launching Cubase on my older W7 Ult 64-bit PC - the MIDI initialization process takes about 1 sec. On my new build, which is basically a clone of the last one (I didn’t actually clone it), but more powerful, it takes about 12 (twelve) sec. It’s not that big a deal, but was wondering if anyone knows what might be going on? Same kbd, same MIDI ctrl. Dev Mgr looks good; same dongle.
Curiosity more than anything else.
