I sign my posts this way for full disclosure of where I work. Jumping into the thread to try to pin me down on a fix isn’t going to help anyone. I can’t promise a fix or timeline.
I work on MIDI. It seems like this is a Windows MIDI bug if it works with the legacy mode set and fails under midisrv mode.
Bug is recorded here. I don’t expect any short-term activity on it, but I’m tracking
That wasn’t the intent behind my question. I mainly wanted clarification on why you sign your posts the way that you do, and I got that. (I wouldn’t sign a message with my workplace unless I was in some way representing my employer, but this is an international meeting place where we’re coming from many different cultures, so I figured it’d be better to ask than to make assumptions.)

I’ve been through press and PR training some years ago. One thing you learn there is you are always representing your employer, whether you mean to or not. Plenty of instances where folks were posting from personal accounts, said something, and it got traced back. It’s even easier now with AI doing the leg work.
So I just ensure I disclose up-front so there can never be any question.
