MIDI Input Transformer issue in Cubase Pro 15

Hey guys, been testing a new plugin (JP-8000 emulation), anyway, I configured an Input Transformer preset which worked fine for Cubase 14 for the filter cut off on the two layers using the Mod Wheel, in Cubase 15, it doesn’t work!

I went ahead and created a new one, seems there’s been some changes?

Below is how it was configured for Cubase 14, working fine on that version:

The same preset, which is in the User directory (Documents sub folder - Windows), doesn’t work in Cubase 15!

I went ahead and created a new one, I selected Subtype, with the condition set to Equal, under “Parameter 1” I entered “1” (no list to choose from), the lower part is the same. It works but as soon as I save the preset (new name of course), it’s defaulting the “Parameter 1” to “127”, then i cannot use the Mod Wheel to affect the filter cut off on the instrument unless I manually change it to 1!
Any ideas why?
Anyone else experienced a similar issue with the new Cubase 15?
thanks

Hi,

This is a known issue of Cubase 14, which had been fixed in Cubase 15.

Please, make the MIDI Input Transformer in Cubase 15 from scratch (or just the Subtype line setting).

I think you’re reading this wrong! It worked in Cubase 14, seems it’s broken in Cubase 15!

When I load the preset I created in Cubase 15 (remember, different name/preset to the one I created in Cubase 14) and configured it for Parameter “1” as shown in the image, it changes it to 127 on its own!

I then manually change it to 1 in order for it to work, everytime!

Hi,

I double-checked the original issue and I was wrong. Some part of the issue has been fixed for Cubase 15.05, but some part has not been fixed yet.

thanks for the update.
