Ignoring that number of midi insert parameters that were automatable in 12 that are no longer so in 13.
The ones that are automatable generally end up crashing Cubase all together*
I really don’t want to use Ableton but in this case there is something I was able to do in 12 that in 13 is no longer possible. So for now I’ll have to jump between Ableton and Cubase just to be able to automate a arpeggiator that I used to be able to do In C12.
Kindly be very specific about what is not working and add the latest crash dump file to your post.
I believe it’s a known issue. I sent the dumps to Steinberg. The real problem is that there is no way to automate the step size or note length of Arpache 5 anymore.
(It did work in 12*)

I’m also trying to ascertain if this is a feature that is intended to work and is not, or weather it’s something they’ve decided to discontinue.
When I automate the parameters on Arpache 5 (note/length) they show as automatable parameters. When I turn write on and change them, those changes are recorded as automation. There are things I change in other inserts that do not record automation leading me to think it’s not intended to work that way. In this case there is automation recorded leading me to think that it’s a feature not working as intended or a bug.
But without touching base with the community I can’t know
