Midi/instrument loop recording - mute all other lanes ?

Hi,

Very basic question.

Recording piano instrument on one track,
I want to record in loop mode several takes that will go automatically on lanes.

I have setup transport to :
MIDI Record Mode : New parts
MIDI cycle record mode : stacked

Problem :
the previous lanes won’t be muted while recording the new take…
How to automatically mute all lanes while recording ??

Hi,

In the transport Panel, click to “New Parts”. Here, you can choose the behavior, while recording MIDI data – a new event, or in cycle (this is your case). For your case, select: Stacked.
