Midi is getting out of tune after using Pitchbend while recording

I am using Arturia Minilab for my music production work. When I pitchbend while recording, the very first note is getting pitchbend correctly. As soon as the second note comes, it picks up where the first note left off in terms of pitch bend. Let’s say I pitchbend on key A to G#/Ab, and the second note I am pitchbending on is note C. The Cubase software or the MIDI is happening from the note C, but instead is dropping down 2 semitones, and the entire MIDI is going out of tune. How to fix this issue?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

By the MIDI specification, the PitchBend is global per MIDI Channel (not per Note). So it works as specified.

If you want to go for the PitchBend per note, user the Note Expression instead.

You’ll have to put the Pitch Bend value back to zero. Pitch Bend will remain on the last transmitted value.
