MIDI keyboard does not map to real notes

Hi All,

I have a weird problem - when I play a note (such as a C) on my MIDI keyboard, it does not sound like a C on a guitar/bass etc. The note is not a little off, it sounds like it is multiple steps out of key. It seems like my MIDI device thinks a C for example is a different note.

How can I fix this?

most likely reason would be a transpose setting on your keyboard

Thanks, Keith99. This is a KeyRig49 which has no settings on the keyboard itself - where would I configure it in Cubase?

I would start by looking in MIDI Inserts/MIDI Modifiers…
