Midi keyboard not working

Hey all, I would love if someone can help me out on this.

I just connected a Nektar GX61 keyboard. I went through the steps of setting up drivers, ports, and all that.

It is being recognized in Cubase as a device. However, it isn’t working for any of my VST’s in instrument tracks.

I am not seeing any midi input signal when I press keys. The only thing that’s happening is that the midi-out channel is triggering every 4 seconds or so, like a little blip. It’s doing it on it’s own, even without pressing anything.

Any ideas on what’s going wrong?

Double-check Studio > Studio Setup > Remote Devices. Make sure there is no Mackie Control or HUI or any other devices, which is using your Nectar keyboard as an input.
