I have a MidiStart 3 it auto-installed fine, it shows as a Audio Device and as a USB Composite Device, but Cubase 5, Sibelius 5, 6 and 7, Kontakt 2, 4 and 5, Kompakt(for old EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Gold, Silver +XP, StormDrum) Finale 2009 and 2011 will not find the device, every thing ewlkse does, eg the Device manager, the noise you get when you plug USB into PC.
I am on Windows XP Pro 64bit, AMD dual 3GHz (Athlon II X2 250), 8GB DDR3 RAm at 1333mHz, 500GB HDD at 7200.2rpm, I use a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 (SB0610).
I’ve used this keyboard for a good long time, it’s warrenty is over it’s that old and good to me!
I need this Keyboard to work in Atleast Cubase as i dont’ have another £100 and up to fork out on a new one!
I also Have a Alto Professional ZMX862 Mixer, got it brand new but cheap, (Maplin) and i have got my Bass guitar and other instruments to play into it, but i wonder if there is a way to make it connect with cubase (there is no USB so donmt’ knwo if it is possible)
