I have Cubase 11 with a Nektar SE49 midi controller. When I try to enter anything using the controller on a midi track, there is a huge amount of latency, so much that I can’t use it. I don’t have this problem when using a VST. Does anyone know what’s happening ?
What do you mean by this, please? Do you want to record MIDI data?
I mean when I play something on the controller keyboard, there is a really big lag between when you press the key and when you hear the note.
Where is the MIDI track routed to? What is the output?
What does this mean? Using the on-screen keyboard on the VST instrument itself?
Do you by any chance have a plugin with a very high latency in your signal path (like e.g. a limiter). Have you tried enabling “constrain delay compensation”?
